Boss (3 out of 10 ) This has some holes in it. They are too many to list here. Except one; the whole "I'm barren, a rocky place where my seed could find no purchase" dialogue is missing. I stopped after that. I know this movie from front to back and this script is incomplete.
kevin (10 out of 10 ) I loved this movie.
ginsu (10 out of 10 ) One of the cool things about reading these early drafts is seeing how much the material developed before it was produced. You get to see what was added, what was removed etc. If you're a screenwriter this sort of information is fascinating.
egg (9 out of 10 ) I agree with ginsu. I think boss is a bit stuck up. One joy of reading scripts is comparing how the vision changes from the page to screen. Clearly with writers like the cohen brothers there isn't much room for improvement between the two stages, but they manage to make the film even better.
